Language development, acquisition, and screening
Language development is closely linked to cognitive growth and the interactions a child has with those around them. A deficiency in communication skills can have negative consequences in all areas of a child’s life.
This training focuses on language, highlighting its role in developing various other skills and providing strategies to help children reach their full potential when needed.
The training objectives are to:
- Recognize the progression of the child’s modes of expression
- Implement stimulating activities for language development
- Identify signs of potential language development difficulties
Training duration: 6 hours, including 4 hours on child development and 2 hours on the educational program.
